This week's installment of Victorian Vernacular visits a favorite subject in the Gilbreth home... Victrolas! This is a Victrola!
A Victrola is an early ancestor of the record player. And as many of you know, a record player is an early ancestor of the CD and MP3 players we know and love today! I wonder if they'll every make a comeback? Maybe as an i-victrola? I think it would be positively "snakey"!
